Are the hydrodgen sulphide fumes from a catalytic converter harmful?

My sister has a garage, and starts the car in there, the whole place smells of rotten eggs from the catalytic converter in her house, and she has young children. Are these fumes harmful to breath in, in those doses? Are the hydrodgen sulphide fumes from a catalytic converter harmful?

Rotten egg smell huh? That means the car is running rich. You must have some kind of pre '96 model because those are mostly known for that. Either the injectors are dumping gas into the motor, or the o2 sensor is bad
whats wrong with her/its not as bad as non cat but its bad/
