Catalytic Converter?

I Have A 1994 Honda Accord , I Believe My Catalytic Converter Was Clogged Because It Was Running Like Trash , So I Cut A Few Holes In Tha Catalytic Converter For Better Breathing , It Runs Better , But It Will Stall Once I Park , So Are My Holes Not Big Enough ? Or Do I Also Have A Bad O2 Sensor ? Im Changing Tha Cat On Thursday And Possibly Tha O2 Sensor If Thats Also Bad . Please Dont Give Me Some Stupid Answers Like Why Did You Cut Holes In Your Cat , Um Hello Cuz It Wasnt Running Good ! ! ! Anyways Thanks For All Your Answers !Catalytic Converter?
Your car, like all other small cars, needs backpressure to run correctly. Backpressure is the force created by restrictions in your exhaust like the muffler and the catalytic converter and the actual size of the exhaust tubing. Your converter maybe clogged, but that is not going to hurt your cars performance that bad, if the O2 sensor is bad, it will tell the computer a false reading, so it will make your car run leaner it will run more air and less fuel in the mixture, ultimately running bad. Do you have a check engine light on? This can tell you if it is getting a bad reading. And if your changing the cat just go ahead and get the O2 sensor while your doing that.Catalytic Converter?
i would change them both and then see how it runs. that could be the problem, or it might be something more, but start with the things you know are bad before waisting money on other parts.
